Tasks:

  • Market Research & Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough online research on technology businesses, including startups, established enterprises, and industry trends.

    • Monitor financial reports, press releases, whitepapers, and industry publications for insights.
    • Ensure data accuracy, relevance, and timeliness.
  • Lead Identification & Profiling:
    • Identify potential business leads, partners, or investment opportunities by researching technology companies and their leadership teams.
    • Compile detailed reports on key decision-makers, funding rounds, and organisational growth.
  • Trend Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Stay up to date with industry news, advancements, and innovations that impact the technology sector.
    • Prepare concise reports and presentations on findings, highlighting actionable insights.
    • Provide recommendations based on research to support strategic decision-making.
  • Database Management:
    • Organise and maintain research databases and knowledge repositories for easy retrieval of information.
    • Regularly update findings to ensure data remains current and relevant.
  • Collaboration & Support:
    • Work closely with sales, marketing, and business development teams to provide insights that support business growth.
    • Assist in the development of research-based content such as whitepapers, blog posts, and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in online research, data analysis, or market intelligence, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of the technology business landscape, including key players and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using online research tools, databases, and business intelligence platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Crunchbase, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Ability to extract insights from large amounts of data and present findings concisely.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote setting
